Loosely translated from Greek, Sofia Epoch means wisdom of the seasons. We are guided by the energies of the seasonal, moon and daily cycles in the growing, processing and making of our offerings.
The Elements Tisanes is a series of four botanical teas - Earth, Air, Fire and Water, composed to work with a specific part of nature’s great cycle which we see in the change of seasons over a year, the same pattern repeating in a single day or a month. The tisanes can be enjoyed anytime of the year or day but each tea does have energetic and physical properties which are most resonant with its corresponding timings and thus when the teas may be most beneficial.
Syncing to our own bodies rhythms and the greater planetary cycles puts us in a state of flow, aligning to natural sequences of energy and connecting us to something deeper

A warming and cheerful infusion, it may brighten the mood and ease emotional exhustion during darker times, both literal and figurative. Goldenrod is traditionally known as a kindney and urinary tract balancer and as an ally against colds and flu. Orange, ginger and oregano are also thought to aid and ease during these times. Not recommended if pregnant or breastfeeding.

Simultaneously energising and calming, this peppy blend of cooling herbs may fill the heart, lift the spirits and soothe inflammation. Two mints combine with fennel and lemon verbena, all renowned as digestive aids, whilst calendula is said to be the master skin repairer, salve to stomach and intestinal linings.

Working here with lavender and rose, all of which may soothe anxiety, headaches and nervous conditions. Marshmallow is said to lubricate and support the lungs and respiratory airways.
